About Kathryn

Kathryn Rigsby, Allied A.S.I.D 

Kathryn Rigsby started designing spaces the day she was old enough to play with her dollhouse moving furniture around from room to room. She has a passion for all elements of design with an enthusiasm for mixing styles, colors, and textures. Truly believing successful design is not about just making something beautiful – it’s about helping people create a sanctuary they and their families love and providing them with a better quality of life.  Kathryn's faith also plays a part in her design process, she believes that her creative talent is a gift from God.     Graduating with an Interior Design degree from Georgia Southern University, she entered into the residential design field with a design firm in Savannah, Georgia. Her background and experience have proven invaluable with all aspects of design projects. Over her many years in the design profession, she saw the need to incorporate mental and physical wellbeing to her interior design practice. She decided to further her design education to incorporate wellbeing in her practice and she received her certification in Biophilic Design from the Oliver Heath Design School in London. Kathryn is an Allied Member of the American Society of Designers. Kathryn also has experience in designing spaces for those who want to "age in place". She has the training and expertise to design a wide variety of interior environments and is just as comfortable working on smaller projects as she is complete renovations and new builds. She is appreciated by her clients for her naturally approachable, easy going nature, her inspirational ideas and design solutions. Kathryn always collaborates with her client so that their personality and style are blended into the home. Her passion in designing spaces that have an emphasis on wellbeing is something that is evident in every space she designs. She delivers eye-catching designs filled with individual style where you can feel comfortable and relaxed.
